Unicoi Gap to Winding Stair Gap (Day 10-17)

Well, we are having more technical glitches and can't access previous posts currently. So I'll share some majors...

We both have trail names: Sari is "Fresh," and Erik is "Bean."

Sari took a pretty big fall and had some pretty bruises up the right leg and right cheek.

We met Butterscotch who carries raw eggs, butter, and a 9 inch skillet. He made ribs abd brownies the other night.

We left Georgia and entered North Carolina!

We hit the 100 mile mark (currently at 108 after a night in Franklin, NC. We shared a room with Sigh and Hummingbird, took showers (we a STUNK!), washed laundry, resupplied and sent boxes boxes ahead, and ate A LOT!

NC had been beatiful hiking, with lots of water and rocks (hence the slip and fall). There has been a lot of fog and some rain, along with a couple of gorgeous days which make it all worth it.

We're gonna take a zero day in Hot Springs in a few weeks and will try to recover the original post. Otherwise, this is what you get.
